PhD in Biomaterials or a closely related field.Expertise in mammalian cell culture and analysis of polymer-cell interactions.Demonstrated ability to conduct research with limited supervision.Track record of peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and build effective professional relationships.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives, and values.Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant training.Job Description: The Research Associate will play a crucial role in advancing biomaterials research, specifically focusing on polymer interactions with blood vessels. Responsibilities include contributing to collaborative projects with Synedgen Inc, engaging in scholarly research activities, writing scientific papers and reports, participating in conferences and workshops, assisting with student supervision, and actively engaging with biomedical researchers.
