In this dynamic role, you'll support the implementation and delivery of cutting-edge clinical research programs, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional, ethical care to clinical trial participants.
Help drive meaningful discoveries that make a real difference in mental health care.
You will Contribute towards the Thompson Institute's vision of being a centre for excellence in PTSD research integrating mental health and neurological research to prevent and/or successfully treat trauma related mental health conditions;Undertake research tasks including but not limited to recruitment, assessments, data collection and analysis and provide research administrative support;Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.About you You are a highly organised and resourceful professional, skilled in troubleshooting and adept at prioritising conflicting demands to meet tight deadlines.
Your ability to exercise sound judgement, use initiative, and maintain confidentiality allows you to navigate dynamic environments with ease.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, paired with strong interpersonal abilities, enable you to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
You thrive both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research setting, contributing effectively to shared goals while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
You will possess: Completion of a relevant degree;Thorough knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice and applicable principles and regulations;Ability to use a trauma informed approach to working in a mental health research setting cognisant of the complexity of participant presentations and needs;Experience in research support and administration, understanding of research methodologies and development of project timelines, data collection and collation;Experience working in a research environment and/or within the health sector will be highly regarded;Experience with SPSS, Endnote and Qualtrics advantageous;Research Administration experience, including working in clinical trials, would be advantageous.Position Description: Research Assistant (Mental Health).pdf All applications must be lodged through our website.
