The role We are looking for a committed Research Assistant to join our team in exploring the biology of ageing and exercise.
This role will primarily involve working with mouse models and employing various molecular biology techniques.
The role involves hands-on lab work, including tissue processing and immunostaining, with opportunities to contribute to data analysis.

BSc with Honours in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in rodent handling, including drug administration (oral, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous injections) and anesthesia induction Proficiency in tissue harvesting, molecular biology techniques, cloning, and cell culture Strong written and spoken communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Basic data analysis and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Ability to balance multiple projects and responsibilities effectively Willingness and motivation to gain relevant research expertise and learn new techniques and methods quickly About us The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (the Institute) is dedicated to finding cures for cardiovascular disease and is one of the most respected heart research facilities in the world.
