Job Description: Part time (0.5 FTE), fixed term until October 2025 About the Role
An exciting opportunity currently exists for you to join the Healthcare for the Homeless Department in a Research Assistant role for a twelve-month period.
You will be responsible for the delivery of project activities directly related to the 'Measurement, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework Development' project.
Leading the implementation of the 'Measurement, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework Development' project Applying project management knowledge and skills Developing program-specific program logics and measurement frameworks Embedding learning cycles into individual programs Classifications for this position will range from HS4 - HS29 ($83,657 - $92,482 per annum, pro rata).
Your Contribution
Health Care Worker Grade 4, holds at the time of engagement, a nationally accredited certificate of Australian Quality Framework Level 4 (or equivalent as recognised by the employer) awarded by a Registered Training Organisation; or is required by the organisation to obtain such a certificate as a condition of employment Previous work experience with under-served populations in a healthcare setting Research, project management or health discipline background is desirable but not essential Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain What we Offer

The Healthcare for the Homeless (HFH) department was established in 2021 and is currently located at St Vincent's Hospital, Fitzroy site.
The intent of the HFH department is to integrate healthcare management for people experiencing homelessness so that they achieve improved health outcomes and a better quality of life.
The HFH department recognises the importance of engagement in research and evaluation activities related to people experiencing homelessness, and more broadly, under-served populations.
Translating research into practice and measuring impact is a key focus of the department.
