About the organisation: Aboriginal Community Services (ACS) are a not-for-profit provider of residential aged care and home and community services to Elders / Clients across South Australia.
Purpose of the role: Undertake projects as agreed with the GM Service Development and in line with funding agreements and goals expressed in ACS Strategic Plan. Undertake a range of tasks as agreed with the GM Services Development which assist in the development of new and continually improving client service models for ACS. About the position responsibilities: Undertaking activities appropriate to achieving the expectations of funding agreements and the ACS Strategic Plan including Program Effectiveness (CHSP, HCP, NATSIFAC, Aged Care Assessments etc) and Aboriginal Ageing. Continually scanning the Aged Care/Home Care industry to identify, discuss and pursue research and funding opportunities that may provide value or benefits to ACS and ACS Clients including industry benchmarking and community needs. Contributing to research being undertaken by other organisations including universities, institutes, peak bodies, and other industry organisations. Providing information relevant to ACS and the industry it operates in and the community it serves for consideration for publication. Working on special projects that fall within the scope of incumbent's capabilities, abilities and interest in the area of Service Development. Tasks in regard to the Service and Support Portal, Alayacare, LeeCare and Monday as agreed with the GM Service Development. Working on projects to influence the public and community perception of the past, present and future achievements of ACS including the documentation, filling and promotion of ACS stories and history. Support other members of the Strategic Projects Team as needed. About you: To be successful you will possess excellent communication and organisational skills. Your strong multitasking skillset, attention to detail and accuracy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will see you succeed in this role. You must possess unrestricted work rights in Australia and a full Driver's License. Previous experience working with Aboriginal People will be highly regarded but is not essential.
