The purpose of the Research Analyst role is to support Standards Australia by contributing to a wide variety of research-related activities undertaken by the research team, from initial analysis to design and analysis of recommendations.What you'll do

Analyse and interpret market, economic and policy trends to generate thought-provoking insightsContribute to and lead the production of well-organised reports, presentations and graphics to summarise and explain research findings and strategic implicationsPlay an integral role in supporting the research team achieve high-quality opportunity assessment and analysis reports, leverage analytical models and professionally present information to drive standard development activitiesContribute to the development of interactive tools that support standards mappingCapture, maintain and manage knowledge and insights obtained through research, analysis and reportsSeek innovative ways to present insights, helping develop a stronger research portfolioContribute to market segmentation and data modelling activitiesSupport with revenue adjacencies identification activitiesStrict adherence to our information sharing protocolAbout you

Degree qualification in business, marketing or relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience relevant to the roleExceptional written communication skills are essential to provide expert advice and recommendations to senior stakeholdersExcellent communication skills and proven capability in synthesising research findings as well as producing comprehensive reportsExcellent graphic design and presentation skillsHigh-level attention to detail, presentation layout and accuracyStrong financial analysis skillsStrong analytical, research, data mining, data modelling and critical thinking skillsSkilled in using MS Office applications (including Advanced Microsoft Excel) and analytical/visualisation methodsWorking knowledge of Power BI and AI toolsUnderstanding of project management methodologies is advantageousCulture & Benefits
