The Role As an Analyst in our Research team, you'll have the opportunity to establish your career in Equities Research. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or someone early in their career looking to pivot into Equities Research.
Your role will be to assist our coverage of the Australian Banks, Mining and Property Sectors by undertaking analysis of key inputs such as financial data, company strategies and industry trends and structures.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Lead Analyst in maintaining existing financial models for covered companies and industries, and creating new financial models.Assisting in the preparation of research reports and investment recommendations for both internal and client distribution.Conducting and compiling background research for covered companies and industries.Creating high quality analyst marketing materials.Supporting clients and internal stakeholders with ad hoc requests in a timely manner.Building internal and industry relationships to strengthen your network and knowledge.About You Key to your success in the role will be:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field.Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.A passion for building your understanding of domestic and global capital markets.Strong knowledge of MS Office, with advanced-level Excel skills.Strong communication skills both written and verbal.A team player who enjoys working collaboratively with co-workers.Motivated to grow a career in a Research role.We have a range of benefits that we think you'll like including daily breakfast options, purchased annual leave, and discounted services.
