We work collaboratively with health services and communities and organisations to deliver equitable health and wellbeing for First Nations peoples.We lead diverse, innovative research projects under the FNCWR Program, addressing a range of health challenges related to cancer and wellbeing. Our cancer research stream largely focuses on health services research with programs of work on improving cancer outcomes through increasing cancer prevention and early detection activities; improving cancer diagnosis and treatment through health service innovation; reducing the impact of multi-morbidities and cancer risk factors; and understanding financial toxicity and costs and providing appropriate care to enhance the psychosocial wellbeing of First Nations people affected by cancers, including their partners and carers across the cancer continuum. We are committed to privileging First Nations experiences and perspectives in our research, and to implementing research methods to ensure cultural-appropriateness and responsiveness.We are seeking a highly motivated research-focused early career academic to join our team. The role brings unparalleled opportunities to engage with a comprehensive program of existing work and a strong network of collaborators delivering high impact research for and with First Nations peoples, as well as opportunities to establish an independent research direction.This opportunity is for a qualitative and/or mixed methods researcher.
