Reporting to the QC Team Leader, the QC Analyst is responsible for completing scheduled routine analytical tasks efficiently and safely in accordance with approved test procedures, standard operating procedures, and the code of Good Manufacturing Practice, as well as participating in support activities required to ensure the ongoing operation of BMW QC.
They are accountable to ensure the tasks assigned to them are executed and delivered on-time and that the completed work satisfies Quality requirements.
The laboratory tasks and responsibility of the QC analyst is assigned by the department's QC Team Leaders.
Summary Standard lab-based role, performing quality control testing in the biochemistry lab Blood assays, automated assays, ELISA, coagulation assays, endotoxin assays Maintenance, testing, stock take, tasks allocated by Team Leader Seeking someone with experience in GMP LIMS system experience highly regarded Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To The Following Responsible for media preparation, growth promotion testing, kit qualification buffer, and reagent preparation in accordance with approved laboratory procedures Perform tests for standardisation of new and existing standards and perform tests for control analysis Assist in the validation of new methods and equipment Distribute, pool, and aliquot all QC samples to internal testing departments and external testing laboratories Perform all routine testing, training, and maintenance according to schedule for the biochemistry department Where required, retrieve, label, and distribute stability trial samples, ensuring all databases are updated in the process Coordinate with the QC Planner, warehouse, procurement, and customer departments for items that require immediate attention Perform stocktake and management of laboratory kits, reagents, and consumables to ensure sufficient supply for testing requirements.

Skills And Experience Required For The Role Degree in science or related (pharma or pathology) Scientific background, lab experience Good attitude, energy, keen to learn, can deal with rapid change and can follow instructions 1-2 years experience; good graduates will also be considered Ideally, the person should have their own vehicle to drive to facilities Excellent communication skills Able to follow instructions Knowledge and experience of the code of GMP and GLP Ability to use complex laboratory instrumentation Good written and verbal communication skills Able to work unsupervised Ability to follow complex test procedures Knowledge of Windows-based software Ability to manage time to ensure testing/activities are completed in a timely manner Only those with full work rights for Australia need apply as there is no sponsorship on offer for this role.
