Job Description The Commercial Data Team is responsible for the delivery of Nine's data-driven commercial products that currently support over 50% of Nine's digital advertising revenue across 9Now, Publishing and Audio assets.
The team manages Nine's data partners (Equifax, Azira, Mastercard and Coles 360), onboarding/data clean room partners (Adobe, Salesforce, Tealium, Liveramp, Karlsgate and DataCo), contextual & brand safety vendor Mantis, and Dynamic Ads vendors Adgreetz.
The team also oversees Nine's Commercial Data Insights Platform – Salesforce Datorama, leveraging Adobe Audience Manager and Audience Experience Platform to support Nine's segmentation and targeting strategy.
The Commercial Data team is Nine's market-leading data team providing consulting services to both internal and external stakeholders.
They have led the market in product innovation across digital data for the last 9 years.
You will be joining a high-performing team of digital data subject matter experts.
This role provides an entry to the evolving digital data world.
Your skills and capabilities will support the team while allowing you to develop your data skills with a highly respected market-leading data team in media.

Day to day you will: Collect and analyze large amounts of data from ambiguous and various sources (ensuring the quality and accuracy of the data).
Create regular reports and maintain/improve reports and dashboards (using platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Datorama, and Tableau).
Provide ad-hoc reports, analysis, and insights as needed to stakeholders.
Create, maintain, and improve documentation.
Leverage and develop a deep understanding of Nine's Commercial Data Products across Insights, Activation, Targeting, and Measurement.
Assist the Measurement & Insights Manager with tasks such as ad-hoc reporting, analyses, forecasting, automation of reporting, and attribution data of exposed users across the Commercial Data suite.
Assist the wider Commercial Data team to deliver on the product pipeline and revenue commitments.
Participate in a collaborative team environment based on supportiveness, development, knowledge sharing, and effective communication.
Build and sustain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the team in external forums.
Support internal training and present insights across the sales team and agency partners.
Qualifications Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Commerce/Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Marketing.
2-4 years of experience in a reporting or analytics role.
Proven experience in data analysis, working with large, ambiguous, and complex data with a strong desire and ability to deliver impactful reporting and analytics.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Excel and PowerPoint & sound working knowledge of Google Suite.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Experience with SQL and other data languages.
Capable of presenting data-driven insights effectively through in-person and online channels to internal stakeholders and external agency partners.
Confident self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a highly commercial, ambiguous, fast-paced environment with a passion for learning and taking ownership of your own development.
Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and manage multiple and conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines.
Prior experience or a strong interest in learning Adobe Audience Manager and Experience Platform, as well as Salesforce.
Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.
