Your new employer is a dynamic FMCG organisation in Sydney's West that manages many well-known brands internationally. Due to continued expansion and growth, the business is looking for a high-performing Data & Reporting Analyst to offer insights and analysis across multiple business units.
About your new job:
In close collaboration with the Sales and Marketing function of the business, you will be responsible for building new and maintaining existing product and pricing models, reviewing existing revenue streams, and reporting findings to management and key business stakeholders. This role is excellent for someone looking to expand their career in the area of Data reporting and dashboard creation as you will be mentored and trained in using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
Some of the tasks include:
Build new and maintain existing sales price models, review existing revenue streams working with the sales team in preparing price and product data for customers and special inquiries.Analyse customer purchasing volume relating specifically to overall profitability.Supporting Commercial initiatives with budgeting and forecasting of future pricing and margin models.Support the development of presentations for stakeholders through accurate collection and sanitisation of data through various tools.Support the development of self-service BI tools to enable stakeholders with data-driven decision-making capabilities.About YOU!To be considered for this position you will have:
- 2-3 years of demonstrable experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Tertiary degree qualification in Accounting or computer sciences.
- Advanced Excel skills (SQL, Power Pivots).
- Exposure to BI tools such as PowerBI/Tableau will be advantageous.
- FMCG industry experience is highly desired.
- Business partnering skills and the ability to clearly communicate with multiple key stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
