The role will include:Presenting engaging Rural & Primary Industry stories or News, Q&A's, interviews and packages across all platforms, including breaking stories.Prepare and present content for the Rural Report and Country Hour.Contributing to the implementation of the Local Emergency Coverage plan and communicate with relevant stakeholders as required.In collaboration with colleagues identifying and developing local content that can be shared with other content teams and across the ABC on multiple platforms.

You will have emerging cross-platform production skills and an understanding of the issues and events important to the Western NSW community.
You will also have the following skills and experience:Proficient editorial skills including the ability to source and analyse information and exercise reliable judgement.
Demonstrated experience in live presentation and broadcast (preferable but not essential.)
Detailed understanding of the issues that affect and interest the local audience.Demonstrated proficient cross-platform production skills.
Proficient time management and communication skills to work effectively the broader team and co-ordinate output with the state and national news desks.
