About the Role The Muswellbrook reporter works alongside the program team in the Upper Hunter, but there are also daily collaborative opportunities with the Newcastle newsroom.

The size of the team means you have support to pursue stories you're passionate about, but also ample opportunity to step up and take a lead on breaking stories in the area – of which there are plenty!
The role involves some shift and weekend work.
You'll also:
Create accurate, concise and clear news content. Deliver digital news content, radio news bulletins, Q&As, interviews and packages. Work effectively within the regional office, and co-ordinate output with the state and national news desks. About You To join this team, you will need to be a highly motivated News Reporter with a thorough understanding of issues and events in the region.
You'll be a self-driven team player with:
