You bring you. The Opportunity As a Report Developer, you'll support our progressive and authentic firm as we champion what's right. Reporting to the Group Finance Systems Manager, and based in our Brisbane CBD head office, you'll be responsible for supporting the reporting, business intelligence, and data solutions of the Shine Justice Group. You'll create and maintain Power BI, SSRS, and other application reports, as well as the underlying data sources. The Finance Data & Analytics team is a small but mighty one, whereby you'll be involved in the entire report development life cycle. Here's how you'll help us stay ahead of the pack: Developing Power BI reporting presentations from MS SQL Server, data warehouse and other sources. Developing and maintaining reports for the entire business (Power BI, SSRS & Xcelerate). Performing ETL process for data required in report presentations. Supporting data extract requests from across the business. Completing ad hoc data analysis and output. Assisting in identifying new opportunities for reporting and analysis of data. Creating & maintaining stored procedures, views, functions and synonyms. Scheduling SQL jobs as required. Testing reports for performance, functionality and data integrity. Working with other Shared Services teams to identify, fix and maintain data issues. Ensuring a service delivery mindset across all financial requirements, applying exceptional process skills to enable effective and cost-efficient Finance support. Documenting processes, work instructions, and solution designs. What you'll bring To thrive in this role, you will: Significant experience in a report developer role, ideally within a professional services environment. Advanced proficiency in the use of MS SQL and SSMS, particularly creating and maintaining stored procedures and views. Knowledge of query tuning and performance. Experience in Power BI is essential. Understanding of ETL processes and experience using temp and staging tables. Experience with the Report Development life cycle.
