Job Responsibilities Ensure consistent stock levels are maintained and storeroom is kept tidy and cleanAssist the store manager and duty managers to meet sales targets and manage wastageServe customers as required at deli or checkoutsDirect Retail Assistants in the absence of duty managerInspire customers to buy products through presentation, shelf refills, merchandising and stock managementWork with ordering processes within departmentsAssist in providing a safe environment for our team and customersBe familiar and ensure compliance with the 'Food Act 2006' and 'Safe Food Australia' standardsAssist the store management team in developing opportunities to maximise profit and meet customer needsSupport the grocery department and provide coaching and guidance to line staffRespond to customer feedback or complaints in a timely mannerUndertake any other tasks as directed by managementTeam effectiveness – act as a positive influence and work as part of a teamWork, Health & Safety (WHS) – follow all HIE WHS policies & procedures Skills Requirement Possess fantastic communication, interpersonal and customer service skillsShould be of smart appearance and articulateBe a reliable and motivated self-starter with a strong work ethicHave the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team including weekend work and night shifts Hours of work You will be rostered on 5 days per week. Working hours are Monday to Sunday 9am to 5pm.
Salary $65,000 plus superannuation. Positions start on 18 December 2024.
