Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Renewable Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will lead the electrical engineering design and analysis for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hybrid systems.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the electrical design and integration for large-scale renewable energy projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses to optimize project performance.
Develop and review electrical specifications, drawings, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards, grid connection requirements, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting renewable energy.
Prepare and present technical reports to clients and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
RPEV (Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria) or RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) or equivalent Chartered Engineer qualification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, power generation, and grid integration.
Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, MATLAB).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
