Zenith is currently recruiting for a Renewable Energy Technician to join the Operations Team reporting to the Electrical Co-Ordinator.
The right candidate will be responsible for BESS, Solar Maintenance and fault diagnosis. Along with providing input into renewables equipment in operation, the candidate will be expected to assist Area Managers with reports and provide input into both renewable and thermal power generation maintenance documents.
Point of Hire: Perth WA What you will do! Advise fault diagnosis and functionality for BESS, Inverter, Solar and thermal power generation equipment. Assist Operations with Safe Work Instructions, operations manual development and protocols. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and on site personnel. Prepare clear and concise documentation, including system requirements, renewables HV switching plans, design specifications, test plans, and technical reports. Assist Technical Operations with overflow tasks. Travel to site occasionally at a moment's notice. Skills/Experience Minimum five years electrical trade experience within the renewable energy or power generation industry. Writing manuals and reports. Excellent computer and literacy skills. High level of communication skills. Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications Electrical Trade Certificate/Diploma. Valid WA Electrical License. High Voltage Switching certificate (desirable). Clearances National Police Clearance. Medical Clearance. Your application will include the following questions:
