Remuneration and People Insights Analyst As the Remuneration and People Insights Analyst, you are part of the People and Culture division responsible for a core and diverse group of people functions. You will partner and enhance our remuneration and people insights practices within the Bank, injecting fresh ideas and supporting our stakeholders and Talent as we lead into the next phase of our Strategy.
This is a full-time permanent position that is based in our Brisbane head office in The CBD.

Your team The Culture, Leadership and People Experience (CLPX) function plays a distinct role within Great Southern Bank. A cross functional team of specialists focused on designing and delivering the organisational development and culture strategies to enable our customer, growth, and transformation at Great Southern Bank.

Your Role The Remuneration and People Insights Analyst plays a crucial role in shaping performance and remuneration strategies and providing actionable people insights to leaders. This position is responsible for analysing remuneration trends, evolving our remuneration practices, and providing data-driven insights to inform people decisions. The role involves working closely with People and Culture peers, Finance, and Senior Leader stakeholders to ensure that remuneration and performance practices align with business objectives, industry benchmarks, and promote employee engagement and retention.

Your responsibilities Evaluate, evolve and maintain competitive fixed and variable remuneration strategies structures across the organization. Analyse market talent and remuneration benchmark data to inform total compensation recommendations. Provide insights on salary ranges, award entitlements, and incentive schemes to support decision-making. Analyse people data to uncover trends related to retention, engagement, and workforce demographics. Develop dashboards and reporting for key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, headcount, diversity, etc.). Partner with peers across People and Culture, and key stakeholders to identify people-related trends and opportunities for improvement. Present insight findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format. Act as a key contact point for team member and leader queries in relation to performance, remuneration and people insights. Your experience Experience as an analyst to implement/facilitate remuneration and performance processes and generate people reports and insights. Business presentation skills (including graphical representation of insights). Stakeholder management and engagement skills. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. Advanced excel skills. Experience contributing to cross functional P&C team projects. Experience working in remuneration and or people processes with the financial services industry is desirable. An understanding of the finance sector is also desirable. Your qualifications Degree / Diploma qualified in transferrable subject matter (desirable). This could (but not limited to) include Commerce, Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Data Science, Analytics and/or Economics.
