The Position An exciting and fully remote opportunity has become available for an experienced Trainer and Assessor to join the vibrant and motivated team delivering Certificate III in Individual Support and other courses under the Skills for Education and Employment program. Casual part time opportunities available.
Responsibilities: Deliver all aspects of accredited training and assessment in accordance with standards for RTOs and the Australian Qualifications Framework specifications. Apply a broad range of communication styles and methods to ensure effective understanding of diverse clients in the training program. Train, assess and support students throughout the course and during their placements. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Work with other Aged Care and Disability organisations to assist students to placements. The Successful Applicant Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability or Individual support. Experience delivering training and assessment in this field. Experience in the Aged Care/Disability industry. Applicants who are / have been a RN would be highly regarded, but not essential. Demonstrated knowledge in the achievement of client learning outcomes and high level client participation, retention and completion rates. Effective and flexible training delivery style that delivers positive outcomes across disadvantaged and culturally diverse clients. Applicants must hold a Working With Children check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening and be able to complete a National Police Check. Hold or willingness to obtain foundation skills training to deliver language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) and employability skills.
