Description:
We are seeking to build an eligibility list of FRACP General, Developmental & Behavioural Paediatricians interested in remotely providing supervision to overseas trained paediatricians working in our child health clinic in Maitland, NSW.
The paediatricians being supervised retain full responsibility for their clinical care. They have been assessed by the college as being substantially comparable to locally trained paediatric consultants but requiring 12 months clinical supervision and orientation to the Australian health care system before being fully accredited as equivalent to a FRACP.
Remote supervisors are sought to provide:
Weekly 1-hour clinical supervision sessions via Zoom, including case discussions, advice on how to navigate the Australian health care system, and completion of 3 monthly supervisors reports. Direct supervision of consults via Zoom can be arranged if required. Be available by phone to answer any semi-urgent clinical questions. Salary of $28,800 p.a. per paediatric consultant being supervised.
