### **Job Description**

United States Steel is seeking a dedicated and independent Remote Client Support Associate to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional support while ensuring their needs are met with effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a critical thinking mindset and an acute attention to detail, qualities that are essential for facilitating excellent communication and resolving issues proactively.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Client Interaction:** Respond to client inquiries via email, phone, and chat promptly and professionally. Maintain high standards of customer service and foster positive relationships with clients.

- **Issue Resolution:** Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve client issues in a timely manner. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams while ensuring clients are kept informed throughout the process.

- **Documentation Management:** Maintain accurate records of interactions with clients, including inquiries, complaints, and resolutions, to support continuous improvement in processes and maintain service level agreements.

- **Product Knowledge:** Stay informed about company products, services, and industry trends to provide clients with accurate information and recommendations that meet their needs.

- **Feedback Collection:** Gather client feedback and suggest improvements to enhance the overall client experience. Act as a voice for the customer within the organization.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless experience for clients. Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategy sessions regarding customer support best practices.

- **Continuous Learning:** Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute positively to team knowledge.

### **Requirements:**

**Education and Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client support or customer service role.
- Prior experience in the steel industry or similar manufacturing sectors is preferred but not mandatory.

**Skills:**
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail in all work aspects.
- Proficient in using customer support software and tools.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and databases.

**Personality Traits:**
- Highly dedicated to client satisfaction and success.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

**Soft Skills:**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and address client concerns with professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
