Job Description:

Starwood Hotels & Resorts is seeking a talented and motivated Remote Business Development Associate to join our team in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, AU. This is a part-time, entry-level position that requires at least 1 year of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be independent, resourceful, creative, and skilled in strategic planning.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners
- Create and pitch business proposals to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for clients
- Track sales and business development activities and provide regular reports to management
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in business development or sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Creativity and strategic planning abilities
