MARS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Remote Area Nurse for a contract over the Christmas and New Years period in the beautiful Kimberley region of WA. This community is located south of Broome and is one of the largest Aboriginal communities in WA. The Role:
As a Remote Area Nurse , you will embark on a healthcare journey like no other. You'll be an essential part of providing critical healthcare services to the diverse and vibrant community in the Kimberley. With flexible start dates from October or December, this position is perfect for an experienced nurse who loves working in the country and immersing themselves within the communities.
Reporting directly into the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for providing a range of culturally appropriate and comprehensive health care services to the local communities.
About you
You will have well-developed interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills and ideally have experience in working in a remote regional area.
You will also have:
AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Advanced clinical skills in a Primary Health setting - previous experience as a RAN A current driving licence - manual is preferred ALS Certificate REC certificate Immunisation provider Pharmacotherapeutics Free accommodation and flights from anywhere in Australia Fantastic casual and contract rates per hour + super Work with a friendly and supportive team Excellent opportunity to be involved within a remote indigenous community Join Our Team
