Be part of something bigger. Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a Remote Area Midwife to join the Women's Program.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Aboriginal Health workforce to deliver high-quality antenatal and postnatal care to clients in the Galiwin'ku community.
This is a permanent full-time position, with the option for Fly-in Fly-out arrangements.

$119,634.00 - $128,524.00 per annum11.5% SuperannuationAccommodation AssistanceFIFO Option AvailableAbility to Salary Package up to $15,900pa plus a further $2,650pa on Meals and EntertainmentThe ideal candidate will have an understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination, as well as knowledge of the unique challenges faced by Yolngu people in remote settings.
The candidate must have current Registration and Practicing Certificate as a Registered Midwife Nurse through AHPRA; Relevant tertiary/post graduate qualifications and experience in public health, paediatrics and/or Primary Health Care; 5 years' experience working in Maternal and Child Health program and must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of primary health care and program delivery in the remote area primary health care context.
