The trust chairperson will lead and assist cemetery trust members in understanding their role, responsibilities and accountabilities and ensure trust members actively participate in the governance of the trust. Appointments are made by the Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Minister for Health for a term of up to three years.Who we're looking for

Applicants should demonstrate skills and expertise in areas such as leadership, corporate governance, community engagement, strategic planning and stakeholder management in addition to executive experience on community or statutory authority boards. Knowledge of public sector accountability frameworks and an understanding of cemetery issues would be advantageous.The term of appointment will be from 1 March 2025 to 29 February 2028.What you need to apply
