Job Description How will I help?
The role is at the frontline of service for the 3rd party broker Equipment Finance segments for Westpac and Capital Finance Australia and is responsible for the execution of customer due diligence that the Bank must perform to identify their customers.
The KYC Team are responsible for the onboarding activities for all organisational entities, simple and complex.
Working in collaboration with various teams, this role is essential to the Bank fulfilling its legal obligations to help prevent, detect and report money laundering and terrorism financing in the jurisdiction we work in.
Fulfilling this obligation helps us protect our customers, communities, and people against financial crime.
Key responsibilities: Provide exceptional support to internal customers and brokers, resolving service requests and fulfilling needs.Stay updated on regulatory changes and handle customer feedback effectively.Build and maintain high-quality relationships, providing advice and challenging the status quo for efficient service.Share knowledge to empower colleagues and undertake remediation work.Identify and resolve or escalate compliance incidents, ensuring adherence to regulations.Build positive relationships with key stakeholders, influencing outcomes for Westpac and its customers.Contribute to continuous improvement by addressing issues and supporting change programs.What do I need? The successful candidate will have:
Knowledge of WBC and CFAL systems, processes, and standards.Familiarity with AML, KYC & IDV banking processes.Understanding of continuous improvement and Lean methodologies.Proficiency in business support systems and tools.Experience in continuous improvement activities, including root cause analysis.Strong relationship management with internal and external customers.Ability to use business metrics for efficiency and quality improvement.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Knowledge of compliance and legislative requirements.Understanding of risk management principles.How do I apply?
