We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relocation Project Manager to oversee the digital aspects of the a relocation project .
This role involves working closely with the Property team and other stakeholders to manage the design, implementation, testing, and relocation of technology infrastructure, including control rooms, meeting room tech, desktop technology, and more.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex relocations, site setups, and fit-outs, with strong expertise in cost estimation and project management.
In addition to the main project, the role will also involve managing other smaller site improvement projects as required.
Please note: This is a Melbourne based role Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all digital aspects of the relocation project, ensuring successful implementation of technology infrastructure (e.g., control rooms, meeting rooms, desktop tech).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Property team and other key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and requirements.
Design & Implementation: Oversee the design phase through to the successful implementation of technology solutions, ensuring all requirements are met on time and within budget.
Testing & Relocation: Manage testing of all technology systems and oversee the physical relocation and setup of technology across the new site.
Site Improvement Projects: Manage smaller site improvement projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively.
Cost Estimation & Budget Management: Develop cost estimates for digital infrastructure, manage project budgets, and ensure financial controls are maintained throughout the lifecycle of the projects.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues and proactively develop solutions to mitigate them.
Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, including progress reports, issues, risks, and resolutions.
Travel: Travel to Sydney and regional centres as required to manage on-site aspects of the project and coordinate with local teams.
Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Proven experience in managing complex relocation projects, technology setup, and office fit-outs, preferably with experience in digital infrastructure.
Project Management: Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
Technical Expertise: Understanding of control room technologies, meeting room systems, and desktop technology.
Cost Estimation: Ability to accurately estimate costs for digital infrastructure and manage project budgets.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement solutions quickly.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to Sydney and regional centres as required.
Preferred Qualifications: Degree or certification in Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in large-scale office relocations.
