Your primary base will be at Epic Pharmacy in St. Vincent's Northside, and you will regularly travel to various locations within Greater Brisbane. On occasion, you may be called on to provide coverage in regional Queensland, including stunning locations like Townsville and the Sunshine Coast.Specific travel benefits and incentives include:Incentive Allowance – This is a fixed allowance on top of the base salary.Mileage Allowance – Be compensated for petrol costs and depreciation of when using your personal vehicle for work purposes. TOIL and additional mileage allowances are provided for further travel.Overnight Allowance – On occasions where work takes you away for more than a day.This role also provides you with the opportunity to significantly diversify your career, as you will be exposed to a variety of multidisciplinary services, including oncology, clinical, and community. With the support of our collaborative teams, you will receive the right training and support to succeed.Your duties will vary depending on the site that you are covering, however, some of the key responsibilities will include:Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge.Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients.Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines.If you're interested in the role but concerned about travel to Chermside, don't worry!
