About The Role Our Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures a range of more than 50 milk, milk-based and cream products, with all products made from fresh milk sourced direct from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site currently produces around 40 million litres of product every year, operating 6 days a week and employing around 50 people. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Reliability Team leader to join the Engineering and reliability team. You will report to the Engineering Reliability Leader and Coach and develop the on-shift Reliability Technicians to deliver reliability improvements to the manufacturing lines and processes, improving efficiency and performance, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality improvements. Responsibilities Improve workforce productivity through coaching and process improvement of maintenance and inspection practices Support delivery of the site's asset care program. Lead and own asset maintenance plans, identification, and elimination of inherent reliability problems on key lines Support teams in the identification of critical machine spare parts and futureproofing based on non-supported OEM parts Manage contractors, ensuring compliance with Bega's safety policies and site processes. Coach and lead team through change and problem-solving and engage towards a single vision About you Previous Reliability experience, preferably within the Dairy Industry or other Food Processing Industries Trade Qualification is a must – Cert 111 Electrical trade is preferred Strong experience in Asset Management techniques and processes Solid knowledge of equipment and engineering principles and High-level process improvement skills with analytical ability and strategic problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships at all levels Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
