SunRice is a great place to work, providing a real opportunity for passionate people to make a difference.About the RoleThe prime purpose of the Maintenance Planner position is to optimise work efficiency by leading the stakeholders to follow the business's Planning & Scheduling processes which relates directly to the preparation of the maintenance activities.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Prioritisation of workload to ensure highest priority most critical tasks are planned & completed – including all resources (labour / materials / time).Developing maintenance job plans for all assets, where required, to prevent functional failures.Identifying and recording what is needed in order to execute work (skill, numbers of tradespeople, estimated duration, materials, special tools / equipment, acceptance criteria and essential safety steps).
This will allow full schedules to be prepared and enable efficient execution of work.Verifying materials and special tools / equipment availability to enable efficient work scheduling and execution.Developing detailed work instructions with clear structure to ensure effective execution of more complex work.Ensuring all stakeholders follow business processes in relation to planning & scheduling.Engaging staff on benefits of accurate planning and scheduling and work order control.About YouMinimum 4 years' experience working as a maintenance planner and scheduler.Nationally recognised trade qualifications (Certificate III), either in a mechanical or electrical discipline.Prior experience in providing an overall plan for the maintenance department and working in a team environment to achieve outcomes.Experience with typical CMMS software such as SAP PM, MEX or other.Experience and capability to build positive relationships and embody trust and respect.Ability to work autonomously and be quantitative in your approach to a site's performance.Superior computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite.FMCG manufacturing plant experience desirable.Key Perks Include!Corporate discounts across gym memberships, Bupa Health insurance, travel, car rental & home removalists.Access to staff allowances of SunRice products weekly!Banking benefits with our partnership with CommBank.All correspondence will be dealt with in strict confidence.
