As the Asset Manager for Generation Technology, you will play a pivotal role in optimising the performance and reliability of our diverse energy portfolio, which includes traditional thermal power stations and innovative inverter-based technologies.
You will lead a high-performing team to implement strategic and operational asset management frameworks, ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and quality power supply.
Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and stewardship in managing both traditional thermal power station assets (diesel and gas reciprocating engines) and inverter-based technologies (batteries, solar farms, and wind farms).
Lead the development and implementation of the Asset Management Plan in alignment with corporate strategies and frameworks.
Manage operational and engineering support to ensure effective and efficient operation, reliability, and safety of generation assets within approved budgets.
Identify and manage risks associated with the generation asset portfolio.
Establish and maintain clear operating protocols and procedures to support operational activities.
Cultivate relationships with internal and external service providers to facilitate maintenance, fault response, and capital works projects.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the asset lifecycle.
Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Proven leadership experience in asset management, particularly with inverter-based assets.
Comprehensive background in managing generation assets, including design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
Strong contract management and vendor support experience.
