RELIABILITY ENGINEER / PROJECT ENGINEER - MECHANICAL MTW is currently seeking an experienced and driven Reliability Engineer (Mechanical) to join the Maintenance team on a fulltime basis.
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator - Infrastructure, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities The primary responsibility for this role is to deliver optimum infrastructure at minimum cost.
The role will also require you to: Support in maintaining statutory compliance including incident investigation process, risk management and documents management; Conduct failure analysis on downtime and critical component failures; Scope, design and implement site engineering projects; Identify and implement initiatives to improve safety, reliability and reduce costs; Optimize maintenance strategies and tactics; Collaborate closely with the maintenance and planning teams to implement and generate continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in the role you will also display the following skills and attributes: Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and/or Mechanical Trade with extensive OEM/Mining operational experience; A minimum of 5+ years experience working with open cut mining; Experience in Risk Management and Document Management; Experience in Project Management; Condition monitoring, FMECA and RCA experience is advantageous but not required; Experience in leading and defining maintenance strategies and tactics; Ability to work autonomously and within a large team environment; Detailed knowledge of CMMS systems, with specific knowledge of SAP; Proficient in conducting statistical analysis downtime data and CMMS data.
