Responsibilities The reliability engineer's primary responsibilities include:
Lead the development and maintenance of the LCC Management Plan (LCCMP) in accordance with project needs.Lead the development and maintenance of project processes, procedures and training to ensure successful management of the LCC and Spares analysis activities.Work collaboratively with the customer to establish, develop and maintain the LCC and Sparing models; identifying needs, selecting appropriate tools, determining indenture and model structure, and analysis of data.Lead the development and maintenance of LCC and Sparing models; identifying and analysing logistics drivers, performing sensitivity analysis, and undertaking trade-off analysis to optimise design and logistics.Lead the generation of LCC and Sparing analysis related reports and documents detailing results of conducted analysis.Lead LCC Working Groups and participate as an active member of other engineering teams.Prepare briefing material and present briefings to provide management, customers and vendors recommendations/suggestions that address LCC product Logistic and Spare analysis issues.About you: To be successful in this role you will also have: Extensive knowledge of LCC and ILS process, procedures and the overall engineering product lifecycle.Extensive experience in Defence or similar projects requiring LCC, logistics engineering and LSA activities to be performed.Demonstrated ability to work across a multi-functional IPT to identify the appropriate data sources and gather the data required to support the analysis.Significant experience and specialist technical expertise in the application of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis & Spares Modelling in the Defence industry.Experience using Windchill Risk and Reliability, ACEIT, CATLOC, OPUS10, and LSA software packages - desirable.Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
