About the Role
The Reliability Engineer provides support to the SunRice Group through the contribution to the Reliability Team in the delivery of operational performance, reliability and asset management recommendations. The role is central to the stabilisation and improvement of the manufacturing facility assets through the delivery and auditing of the business Reliability Framework and Site Reliability Plans and compliance of the system generated asset care programs across the business units.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Verifying, analysing and reporting reliability data along with providing preventative and predictive plans, programs and reliability activities to assist in improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and recommendations of future capital equipment investments.
Provide coaching, mentoring and technical understanding for both proactive and reactive site needs, where fault finding and applied expertise in real-time operational situations is required.
Drive compliance to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) requirements of the manufacturing facilities and leading a safe work culture.
Leads and develops reliability knowledge and understanding across the sites through the Reliability Team to continuously develop and build on skills and knowledge of best practice reliability and operational excellence systems and techniques.
Embed a culture of continuous improvement and root-cause analysis for problem solving using the relevant SunRice methodologies and tools.
About You
Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role.
Nationally qualified mechanical or electrical trade (Certificate III/IV).
Degree or Advanced Diploma qualified (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering).
10+ years' previous experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Beverage/Food Manufacturing industry.
5+ years' experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and other control systems.
Experience in condition monitoring and predictive maintenance processes.
Experience in developing and assessing equipment supplier Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
Australian driver's licence is essential.
