About the role The Reliability Engineer is a Full-time position, based at Somersby, NSW. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for driving continuous reliability and improvement outcomes to deliver on site strategy. The role of the Reliability Engineer is designed to ensure that the plant and equipment presents maximum uptime to the business whilst working standard hours.
In this role you will:
Supporting implementation of the Maintenance and Capital strategySupport the Site in achieving yearly targets and KPIS (Achieve)Ensure standards are carried in line with safe engineering work practices and legal requirementsContribute towards site continuous improvement activitiesWork with engineering team to diagnose and rectify reliability issues in plant equipment limiting downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of plant equipmentReview preventative maintenance tasks and schedules to ensure they are in line with current and leading maintenance practicesDevelop and implement Equipment Condition Monitoring program for the siteWhat you bring to the role Recent Engineering Graduate (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Degrees)Strong safety focus and involvement in risk assessmentsSound engineering problem solving & decision making by being engaged in industry leading techniques and technologyUnderstanding of Asset Management techniques, and use of SAP maintenance systemStrong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholdersStrong technical and learning agility to apply new concepts and continuously improveAbility to work under pressure with high level process improvement skills with analytical ability and strategic problem-solving skills (root cause analysis, process improvements & corrective actions)Ability to challenge status quo.We strive to support your professional and personal growth.
