Role Overview The Reliability and Asset Planning Manager is responsible for developing and implementing Asset Services Plans to meet established standards (ISO55001, Transport for NSW, and TS01501).
This role involves ensuring compliance with these plans and identifying asset reliability gaps to improve overall asset performance.
The manager will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely data submissions and support asset-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Development and Maintenance of Asset Services Plans:Create and maintain Asset Services Plans for all bus contracts in alignment with Transport for NSW standards, ISO55001, and organizational requirements.Ensure each plan reflects the specific needs of asset classification, utilization, and lifecycle management goals.Assurance and Compliance:Conduct planned and unplanned assurance activities to validate compliance with Asset Services Plans, including fleet reliability analysis and data monitoring.Identify and address asset reliability gaps, recommending improvements to optimize performance and mitigate risks.Data Analysis and Reporting:Track, analyse and report on asset performance metrics to meet internal and regulatory reporting standards.Develop insights and trends from data analyses to inform asset management strategies and enhance reliability outcomes.Stakeholder Engagement:Work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies to support effective implementation and compliance with Asset Services Plans.Build and maintain strong working relationships to support collaborative asset management and reliability initiatives.Identify opportunities to improve asset services processes, tools, and documentation to enhance overall efficiency and reliability.Implement improvements based on feedback, audit results, and performance analysis.Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Education:Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related discipline.Experience:Demonstrated experience in asset management planning, particularly with familiarity in Transport for NSW Asset Standards or equivalent standards.Technical Skills:Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and other data management tools; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.Knowledge:Strong understanding of ISO55001, asset lifecycle management, and reliability engineering principles.Analytical Skills:Excellent analytical, research, and presentation skills, with proven ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of preparing clear reports and presenting findings to varied audiences.Problem-Solving:Highly resourceful with well-developed problem-solving abilities to proactively address reliability issues and streamline workflows.Stakeholder Engagement:Skilled in collaborating with diverse stakeholders to foster a cooperative approach to asset management.Physical Requirements: Primarily sedentary tasks requiring low physical exertion, with frequent alternation between seated and standing positions.Involves computer-based work, occasionally requiring prolonged sitting for up to eight hours.May involve occasional travel between locations and lifting of files or archives up to 10 kg.Why Join Us?
