About the role We're seeking a Release Manager to set the strategy for Customer and Billing Platform Releases, coordinating and standardising release processes across the platform with a focus on management and planning across; People, Process and Technology to provide a single view of all platform work streams, optimal stakeholder communications and facilitation of planning and demand management.
You'll join an innovative team, who are supportive, professional and work collaboratively to ensure minimal disruption and smooth releases on critical platforms.

Day-to-day, you will: · Lead and guide the Release team - Provide regular leadership, mentoring and coaching to all team members · Manage and Uplift of Release processes across the platform, synchronisation of required changes to customer platforms and ensuring risk/reward factors are taken into account.
· Define a mutually agreeable Platform Release Strategy to ensure; Efficient and timely delivery of changes to the platform, a consolidated transition process across both the Core Tolling and Customer & Billing Platform teams; and scalable, best practice release practices.
· Effectively manage change into the production environment, taking account of implementation risks and the broader IT change calendar and change processes with measurable quality targets and metrics · Develop and manage a Platform Release calendar based on agreed program roadmaps taking into account business priorities, project interdependencies, deployment risks and sequencing across Transurban systems · Leverage vendor relationships for operational excellence and also strategic benefit · Liaise with business, customer & technology stakeholders to ensure a customer-obsessed approach.
· Occasional after hours work during releases – escalation point, release management/coordination This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: · Ability to Win others, ability to build trust and earn respect from key stakeholders, peers and respective Delivery Teams · Ability to build Strong relationships with Stakeholders at all levels, with peers and teams · Ability to lead from the front.
· Good understanding and experience in using the principles of Agile, CICD and DevSecOps.
· To be known as a Trusted advisor to stakeholders and teams · Ability to Plan and know the roadmap of work ahead · Technical aptitude and understanding of technology skill sets and technical asset base · Knowledge of Oracle If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
