About the Role The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an experienced Release and Deployment Lead to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security. The Release and Deployment Lead will be assigned to large ICT programs/projects and will be responsible for managing all release-related activities, from planning to execution, ensuring quality processes across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
This role will work closely with the Testing, DevOps, and Change & Engagement practices to ensure expected quality criteria are satisfactorily achieved and will deliver functionality and features into pre-production and production environments in line with agile methodologies.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Expert knowledge of, and demonstrated experience within a large ICT environment, focused on release and deployment planning, leading to successful program delivery.Good knowledge of, and experience in leading/utilising a range of methodologies and skills (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, ITIL, DevOps), including agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).Demonstrated experience in understanding the integration between various ITIL Service management disciplines and essentials for projects successfully transitioning to operations.Relevant ICT tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience is preferred for this role.How to Apply Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
