About the role
We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for a 12-month fixed-term position as a People Business Partner within our People & Culture team. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both remotely and from our Head Office located in Eight Mile Plains. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in driving our organisation's people management strategy, with a special focus on Industrial and Employment Relations . As a trusted advisor, you'll provide expert guidance on complex matters such as enterprise agreement interpretation, Fair Work hearings, and disciplinary management. Your strategic insights will drive best HR practices, support our management team, and contribute to key People and Culture initiatives.
Additionally, you will:
Provide expert advice on industrial relations matters, including the interpretation of workplace agreements and relevant legislation, while monitoring the IR landscape to ensure legislative compliance. Support enterprise agreement negotiations and drafting, and conduct investigations into complex employment matters. Partner with leaders to build organisational capability and strengthen their people management skills, while developing effective stakeholder relationships as a trusted advisor. Offer data-driven insights to support leaders in decision-making and assist with workforce and succession planning. Advise on performance management tools and strategies, coach managers on handling unsatisfactory performance and disciplinary procedures, and support grievance and conflict management processes. Assist with People and Culture Group programs aligned with the organisational strategy, identify process improvements, and implement initiatives to enhance the employee experience. Develop and deliver HR analytics and reports for the Board and Executive Team, while ensuring accurate maintenance of employee records in compliance with legislative standards. About you
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Law or similar Proven experience in Industrial Relations/Employee Relations and a strong knowledge of IR/ER legislation & frameworks The ability to build trusted relationships and to influence key stakeholders. The ability to assess and manage risk Demonstrated ability to develop and implement projects, initiatives, policies and procedures We Can Offer You
The salary is being offered between $110,000 to $120,000.00 per annum, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation. We also offer our employees as follows:
