We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and relationships manager to drive sales and build and maintain relationships.
The position is casual position for 38 hours a week, to begin with this position will be Level 7.1 – 7.2 of the Educational Services Award, General staff –$48.14 – $51.00 per hour for 6-month probation period with the opportunity for casual conversion after this period.
Reporting to the General Manager responsibilities include, but not limited to: Sales Strategy and Execution Develop and implement sales strategies to attract schools into the projects, in-house customers, and scheduled courses.
Identify, approach, and build relationships with schools, school associations, community organisations, and other industry stakeholders.
Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Marketing and Brand Promotion Create and execute a marketing strategy and campaigns across traditional & digital channels including to increase user acquisition and engagement.
Content creation for all channels to ensure consistent branding and messaging on social media, email newsletters delivered every 10 days, and website.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, optimizing strategies for better ROI.
Responsible for B2 B and B2 C marketing channels and investigating new outlets.
Prepare and send out EDMs to income streams – ensure they are reviewed before distribution.
Manage EDM distribution lists in Schoolzine.
Create follow up campaigns for courses in Arlo.
Customer Relationship Management Create and adhere to a stakeholder engagement plan for regularly following up with schools and key contacts.
Develop and manage a CRM strategy, ensuring effective lead generation, retention, and customer satisfaction.
Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and ensure their needs are met, enhancing user experience on the platform.
You will not be averse to calling people on the telephone.
Partnership and Collaboration Identify and develop partnership opportunities with associations, key industry contacts, and organisations.
Manage relationships with partners, negotiating terms to maximize value for Parentshop.
Market Analysis and Reporting Conduct market research to stay on top of industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, marketing KPIs, and market trends, making data-driven recommendations to optimize strategies.
Check scheduled events calendar and course bookings weekly, to gauge where sales focus is required and devolve tasks to for filling courses.
Liaise with BDM regularly to complete: Follow up event feedback and send requested information with a follow up phone call.
Cold call, email and follow-up leads/referrals – custom distribution of marketing messages to previous course participants additional to the automated marketing messages.
Maintain a sales funnel, identifying at what point the project is up and likely success.
Report on each project at each Weekly catchup.
Drive sales and identify income streams across our market segments.
Selection criteria to be addressed in no more than three pages.
Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or a related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a business development position focusing on building relationships and driving sales.
Experience in developing and implementing marketing plans for a range of initiatives across a range of online, social and print media channels, devolving tasks among staff where applicable.
Digital content creation and implementation experience.
Exceptional written communication skills - with extensive experience in copywriting.
Understanding of how to engage and build relationships with journalists/media outlets as well as effectively monitoring media, managing issues and identifying proactive media opportunities.
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders and work with them to inform and engage with relevant campaigns.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work autonomously while referencing our strategic objectives.
Demonstrated proficiency in Indesign.
Experience in the Education sector highly desirable.
