Our Commercial Banking teams are proud to support a range of medium to large sized businesses across Australia. Our advanced technology solutions allow our people to provide invaluable support to our clients as we help them lead their businesses into the future.

Your team will be made up of Relationship Executives, Analysts and Specialists located at our Melbourne Head office. We manage a diversified client base and provide full Business and Commercial Banking solutions.

The segment we focus on is businesses that turnover between $3m - $30m delivering on a range of needs and requirements, including cash flow, capital, wealth, risk management and investment advice.

Do Work That Matters

As a Relationship Executive, you will provide meaningful solutions for a portfolio of diversified business clients with complex banking needs. Understanding the specific needs and goals of your clients will help you to use your relationships to help them understand new opportunities. You will use your insights, experience and expertise, along with a great range of innovative products and services, to help move these businesses forward and to grow our client base.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Banker or Analyst from business banking who is looking to join a successful & motivated team, to develop and enhance their experience within complex, high value lending and to be part of a team who are on a growth journey.

You will commence with an existing book of established clients with the expectation that in addition to providing excellent service to these clients, you will also focus on new client acquisition as well as identifying further opportunities for both new and existing clients.

More specifically, you will: Build strong relationships with clients and retain their business through excellent client service;Use your network and referral partners to identify and pursue new to bank opportunities;Gain an in depth understanding of complex client needs and engage product specialists to deliver a broad range of financial solutions;Drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex solutions; andContinue to build your profile and presence on behalf of CommBank across the region. We want to hear from you if you have: Experience in successfully building and leading a successful Commercial Banking portfolio;Experience in commercial lending;A deep understanding of banking products and services;Trusted relationships within the local business community;Sound financial analysis and credit skills, with a strong understanding of financial documents and the underlying cash-flow drivers; andA real passion for customer service and driving new business.
