About the opportunity We are seeking a Rehabilitation Support Officer to join our Workers Compensation and Safety section on a permanent, full-time basis.
The successful applicant will provide administrative support within the Safety section, assisting with a range of general clerical duties.
You will assist in the following : Provide general clerical assistance to sectionData entry of workers' compensation claimsProcessing payment of invoicesAdminister the Employee Health Surveillance program in accordance with the Work Health and Safety SystemLiaise with workers, supervisors and managers as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the health Surveillance program including scheduling appointmentsPrepare correspondence for the Health Surveillance ProgramMaintain the Health Surveillance electronic databaseQualifications and experience Essential : Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or a related fieldMinimum 12 months experience working in an office environmentDemonstrate a commitment to customer serviceAbility to work within a team environmentAble to work flexible working hours.Desirable : Current class C drivers' licence.
Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.
