We welcome new graduates to apply! In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals where you can provide holistic support to clients.
Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work positive outcomes.
Your duties will include:
Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomesWorking with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programsWorking collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionalsCompleting a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.QualificationsYou'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!
Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation CounsellingFull Professional Membership with ASORCPrevious experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded however not mandatory;Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;It's the kind of career where well developed time management skills are a must!A current valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.Additional InformationEvery day, we seek better together for our clients, our customers, our community and each other.
