About the Role:

We are seeking a Rehab Counsellor looking for a role as a Rehabilitation Consultant to join a dynamic team in Townsville!

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will assess, plan, organise, and participate in workplace rehabilitative programs to help clients achieve positive return to work outcomes.
You will see a range of clients, predominantly NSW Worker's Compensation with scope for working in Life Insurance, Comcare (including DVA) and CTP scheme.

Assess the worker's transferable skills and potential through various means including early intervention assessments, home assessments, worksite assessments, job task analyses, ergonomic assessments and case management services.

Use your strong communication skills to liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers and employees, and contact employers to enquire about potential jobs and marketing the WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers to organisations.

This is a full-time position, however, part-time at 4 days per week may also be considered.

Relevant Tertiary qualificationsASORC registrationPrevious industry experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is desirable but not essentialKnowledge of Workers' Compensation and injury management is desirableOutstanding communication and networking skillsExcellent writing skills and experience writing reportsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAble to work independently and as part of a teamAustralian driver's licenceEligible to work permanently in Australia About Us:
