About the Role:
We are seeking a Rehab Counsellor looking for a role as a Rehabilitation Consultant to join a dynamic team in Townsville! As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will assess, plan, organise, and participate in workplace rehabilitative programs to help clients achieve positive return to work outcomes. You will see a range of clients, predominantly NSW Worker's Compensation with scope for working in Life Insurance, Comcare (including DVA), and CTP schemes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing the worker's transferable skills and potential through various means including early intervention assessments, home assessments, worksite assessments, job task analyses, ergonomic assessments, and case management services.Using your strong communication skills to liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers, and employees, and contacting employers to enquire about potential jobs and marketing the WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers to organisations.This is a full-time position; however, part-time at 4 days per week may also be considered.
