Competitive hourly rate and excellent infrastructure and systems for seamless case management. The Role: As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will:
Manage cases for DVA clients with physical and/or psychological conditions. Conduct holistic assessments of clients' rehabilitation needs and develop tailored plans to aid their transition from the Australian Defence Force to civilian life. Coordinate RTW plans, including vocational assessments, functional capacity evaluations, work trials, and psychosocial activities. Deliver a range of early intervention and occupational rehabilitation services grounded in evidence-based practices. Use motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement in meaningful activities. Liaise with stakeholders in a multidisciplinary clinical context. About You: To succeed in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy. A current National Police Check. Mental Health First Aid Training. Membership with a relevant professional body. Experience in complex case management (preferred). Prior experience with DVA or ADF clients (highly regarded).
