IPAR is part of the global MedHealth network.Job DescriptionWe are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Darwin NT.This role is available for both part-time and full-time positions.New graduates are welcome to apply!In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day while having the support of a strong team of healthcare professionals. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, and support them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.Your duties will include:Case management (manageable caseloads with support from Rehabilitation Assistants);Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;Assisting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;Completing assessments using your clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments.QualificationsYou'll be a driven and energetic professional with the following qualities:A qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy registration with either AHPRA or ESSA;Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded;Excellent communication skills;Compassion and empathy;Strong time management skills;A current valid Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle with comprehensive insurance.Additional InformationYour Career at IPARIPAR is a lively and supportive workplace.
