You will become a rehab expert and act as the participant's advocate and their educator as you guide them through what can be a tough process for them.
Here is what the reality of this role is:
Conduct Occupational Therapy specific assessments such as Activity of Daily Living, Attendant Care, Modified Bartel Index and functional upgrading evaluations. Perform a variety of occupational rehab specific assessments such as worksite, ergonomic, functional assessments. Support with equipment prescription in the home and office environment. Have support from a national Occupational Therapist technical specialist who runs monthly internal OT forums (with your OT colleagues across the country) to help with your CPD requirements. Work amongst a local multi-disciplinary team of Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists and Social Workers. Access to award winning tools to support you in your role. We are open to a range of experience levels - from seasoned rehab consultants to new grads, or overseas trained professionals to locals from any other sector of healthcare!
