We are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant and clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our team in Perth on a full-time basis!

About the role As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services to help build better lives through work and health.

Career and Professional Development linked to your profession A training academy to keep your skills sharp and reach all CPD requirements Opportunities to work in over 80 locations in Australia Ongoing flexible working arrangements – you'll be equipped to manage your own time Professional Development study options Paid Parental leave Assistance with CPD requirements Financial Incentive programs to reward you for your hard work As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include: Undertaking worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment and home assessments Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties Designing, implementing and monitoring exercise programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce Teach, coach, and motivate clients to facilitate self-management of exercise and healthy lifestyle, using models of behaviour change, scientific evidence and clinical reasoning, and accounting for sociocultural and individual factors Design, implement and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions, based on referral information, presenting pathologies and co-morbidities, clinical reasoning, pre-intervention assessments and the analysis, interpretation, and application of scientific evidence. Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required. Complete accurate case notes which reflect actions undertaken and any recommendations to achieve the Return to Work and Health goal. What you'll bring to the role Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills Proven organisation and time management skills. Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Hold and maintain a current Australian Driver's Licence and own and maintain a road worthy, comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
