The Team
The People Branch enables AEC's people through the provision of expert advice, support and resources. Our services and functions deliver outcomes relating to; human resource (HR) strategies, frameworks and policies, diversity and culture, safety and wellbeing, workforce planning, recruitment, employment conditions and pay, HR systems and reporting. We aim to work in partnership with AEC business areas to bring a strategic focus and innovative approaches, built on solid operational foundations.
In anticipation of the next Federal Election and to support the delivery of programs to maintain the safety and wellbeing of our staff and community, the Safety, Wellbeing, Inclusion and Performance section are seeking talent to join their teams.
The Opportunities
The Rehabilitation Case Managers coordinates timely and sustainable return-to-work support programs to ill and injured employees across the agency. Working with the Senior Rehabilitation Case Manager, this role will coordinate with employees, managers, rehabilitation providers and consult with medical professionals, including Comcare to support the return-to-work process.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence others in the pursuit of desired outcomes.
Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively and meet key demands in appropriate timeframes.
Knowledge and ability to apply Comcare policies and principles governed under the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988.
Broad technical knowledge and application of rehabilitation management frameworks, including applying early intervention and evidence-based approaches to facilitate a timely return to work for injured/ill employees.
Desirable
Certificate IV Injury Management, or willingness to obtain, or equivalent work experience.

AEC employees must be Australian citizens.
